Shotgun Weddings Among Korean Celebrities

I've been noticing lately a rash of celebrity weddings in Korea. Nearly all of them, the wife is 3-4 months pregnant. So it makes me wonder: do you have to get knocked up for a male celebrity in Korea to marry you? (That is, you have to be a celebrity yourself, if you're not, then I suppose it doesn't matter if you do get pregnant by a male celebrity, it's just that a female celebrity can't be hidden away, paid off, or hushed up!)

So far there's major Hallryu star Jang Dong Geun and Ko Soyoung. There was Kwon Sang Woo and his celebrity wife. Recently Tablo and his celebrity wife. Park Myungsoo the comedian also married because his girlfriend got pregnant. The guy from One Two also married his celebrity wife because she was pregnant.

I wonder to what extent the robust Sex Industry in Korea has to do with this. Where sex is pretty much readily available not just to ordinary citizens but especially to the rich and famous.
